We have been in love with Portugal and exploring this amazing country since the 1980s. Eventually, we took the plunge and moved here. We chose Tavira as it has beautifully preserved its ancient sophisticated charm and it is also well known for its program of cultural events and festivals throughout the year. Before moving to Tavira we holidayed in over 20 properties throughout the town ourselves. So when it came to creating a holiday let for guests we had a good checklist of what to do and not do! We hope you enjoy Casa Azul as much as we did living there. We now live in our new renovation project - a 132 year old barn on the riverside, just outside Tavira.
